My progress on my ARW/RCA readings

When I was high school students, I like English class so much and sometimes buy some easy English books by myself and read them. Actually, I thought that I am very good at English, I realized that it is wrong when I started new life in ICU in April. When I read the ELP Reader at the first time, I totally could not understand what the authors said. There are a lot of many words I have never come across and the sentences are too complicated to understand. Therefore, I've tried to read and understand the meanings and what the authors said with a dictionary in my hand during the spring term. Because of this effort, I realized that I could read English books much faster than before when I read books for summer reading assignment. Furthermore, I can guess the meanigs of the words I don't know. Actually, I cannot understand the whole contemplation and intention the authors try to convey. However, it is very big progress for me.
